SQL Server question from Washington DC

Hello,
I see that your company is in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are in Washington DC and would appreciate your thoughts on a SQL Server issue.
We have one of our company databases in SQL Server 2005. Recently we bought a new server and are transferring the database to the new server. We backed up the database to a file and tried to restore it on the new server. But the new server seems to require that the database files be in the same exact location as they were on the old server? Is there a way to get around this? Do you make house calls?? :-)

Rockville guy here with a SQL Server question

Hi,
I am an IT guy in Rockville, Maryland and have a custom programming question that has to do with database management. I am trying to integrate a Microsoft Access database with a SQL Server 2008 64 bit database. The SQL Server system doesn’t seem to connect to Access. Do you have any ideas about what could be the problem?

Microsoft Access help in Rockville or Germantown

Dear CCD,
Our company has an old system based on Microsoft Access. It started out in version 2.0 and is now in Access 2000. We need to update it and improve it. We have offices in Rockville and in Germantown, Maryland. Is there a good computer consulting company in Rockville or Germantown that you can recommend for working on Access. Help! Thanks in advance,
